   There are hundreds of people working full time to help protect your account and keep scams off Facebook But still Nowadays Some ruthless grey hat hackers are targeting Facebook account to get the person's information and to destroy their Facebook accounts. Every day thousands of Facebook account, other social networking and email accounts are getting hacked by the grey hat hackers. So today I am going to show you how to secure your Facebook account!

1. Be aware of phishing schemes
Facebook Hackers loves to hack Facebook account by phishing.In Phishing, Attacker try to gain the victim's Login details by creating simply a facebook fake page and send it via link. If the victim got fooled then Attacker easily get the victim's Email and Password, so don't trust this kind of emails.
Beware of:
Check the URL Address of site before submitting your personal details.
Messages with misspellings, multiple fonts or oddly-placed accents.
Messages asking for your personal information. Facebook will never ask you for:
Your account password
Your social security number or tax identification number
Your full credit card number or PIN


2. Never run any code in address bar Whenever anyone tells you to run the code in to your browsers address bar then don't run that kind of codes because it’s a cookie stealing scheme.(Cookies Stealing Post soon gonna be publish)


3. Choose strong and unique password You have to choose strong and unique password for your Facebook/email accounts use special characters and use upper and lower case letters to create your password strong. Don’t use this kind of passwords "iloveyou*******, 12345, mobileno", etc.


4.Connect your mobile with your Facebook account Connect your mobile with Facebook account so when you lost your Facebook account password or your Facebook account got hacked then you can easily recover your Facebook account using your mobile.


5. Never use useless Facebook application Some of the Facebook applications are tracking all your activity and some of the facebook application requires Facebook password verification and the password and your cookie will be saved in the server. so avoid using useless Facebook applications.


6. Use updated antivirus You must use updated antivirus to protect your self from the keyloggers and spyware software.


7.Check device where you are logged In Goto => Security => where you're Logged In. If you notice the unfamiliar device, simply click 'End Activity' to end the session.


8.Trusted Contacts
Trusted contacts are friends you can reach out to if you ever need help getting into your Facebook account will make easy get the security codes and use those codes to access your account.
Method:
Go to your Security Settings
Click on the Trusted Contacts section
Click Choose Trusted Contacts
Choose 3-5 friends and confirm your choices
Even you can Remove or Edit Your friends after saving.

7.One-Time password
This Trick is rarely used by people but as this post is for security, I am mentioning about this. One-Time Password is used when you are not feeling comfort to enter your password specially when you are, may be, in the college library,in your friend's home or anywhere as such. In order to protect your security, Facebook recommends using a one-time password to log into it from such places.
Method:
One-time passwords are not available if you have login approvals turned on, So for tuning off the login approvals,
Go to your Security Settings ( Click and select Settings, then click Security)
Click the Login Approvals section
Check the box and save your changes
Now, Check out your country Here and which mobile carriers support this feature and what number you should use.
Once you get your code, just enter it in the Password section of the Facebook login page.
Note:Your one-time password will be valid for 20 minutes and can't be reused.
