Speed-Up Your Windows 7

Hello People! This post is for the Users who fed-up by there Slow computers/laptops. Here some Great Tips and Tricks by which you can boost up your Computer with no much needs of softwares.

#Tip 1
Its Better To create a system which restore Tweak Before doing any tweaks soo To do this, Right Click on My computer => Select Properties => Goto System Security
New Window Will open => Click on Create => type

Backup Optimization tweaks

and Click on create as shown in Picture!

 that's All!

#Tip 2:
Let's Start with the Basic,
click on Start, goto RUN And type

%temp%

Delete All the Files Whatever You see inside the Folder As shown in the picture below.

Now, Goto My Computer => C Drive => Windows => Prefetch.
Inside Prefetch, Delete All the Files!
Note: Many of Users Feel iffy to delete Files in Prefetch But its 100% safe and secure This will not at all Harm your Computer.

#Tip 3
Goto Control Panel => System and security.
Click on Device Manager, by clicking on it, New window will open. Click on Disk Drive.
Right click on your Hard Drive and click on properties

New popup will open, Click on Policies => tick on "Enable write catching on the Device" Done! Now click Ok!

#Tip 4
Right Click on My Computer => Select Properties => Click on Advanced System Settings
In Visual Effects => Click on Adjust for Best Performance => Tick on Whatever you see ticked in the picture (while ticking, It will bydefault set as custom, so dont be worry of it)

Then Click Apply And its Done!

#Tip 5
Right Click on My Computer => Select Properties => Click on Advanced System Settings

 New popup will open, select Advanced
Click on Performance Settings => New popup Will open => Now, Click on Change (Virtual Memory) => then click on Custom size and change the intial and maximum size (MB). In my Case, it is 6144.

How i Get to Know that my Initial And Maximum Size (MB) is 6144 ?
As my Istalled Memory RAM is 3.0 GB Which i can find in on Computers's properties.
Convert 3.0 GB into MB by simply multiply by 1024 (since 1GB = 1024MB)
then again multiply by 2 to find out the initial and Maximum size.

Click on set and Ok! Its Done!

#Tip 5
Click on Start => goto RUN and type

msconfig

and Hit Enter!
Goto Boot Section => Advanced Options => tick on Number of Processors => Select the Maximum Number of Processor in your system. In my case it is 4.

Click Ok ! its Done!

#Tip 6
Click on Start => Goto RUN and Type

services.msc

and Hit Enter!

now, Scroll Down And single-click on "Windows Search". First Stop the Service Which you will find on your left hand side  => then right click on Windows Search => Select Properties.

New window Will Open => Disable the startup type => Click ok! its Done!

#Tip 7
Here You need a software which is one most popular "Ccleaner" If you Don't have this Software, Download this from HERE
After Downloading and Installing, Open CCleaner => Choose whatever you need Or whatever you wanna Delete => Click on Analyze => then Run Ccleaner as shown in the Picture.

#Tip 8
Click on Start => goto RUN and type

Regedit

and hit Enter!
Goto Edit and Select Find or just simply press CTRL + F.
Type

and Hit Enter!

Click on ValueMax And Set value Data: "0" => Click Ok!

that's All!

#Tip 9
Goto Control Panel => Hardware and Sound => Power Options => Choose High Performance.

#Tip 10
Disable Softwares Which you Don't Need.
Click on Start => Goto RUN and Type

msconfig

and hit Enter!

Click on Startup And choose Whatever softwares you want to Enable or Disable.

#Tip 11
Goto Control Panel => Programs => Programs and Features => Uninstall software or Application Whatever is not in use.

#Tip 12
Graphical Themes also can be a Reason sometimes of slow computers, Avoid Themes to set in Desktop Background. Make a Use of Picture or Solid Colors.
